1. Who we are
Coachwood Manor Cocktails (the Site, Service, or we/us/our) is operated by:
New Line Group Pty Ltd
ABN 65 150 892 149 · ACN 150 892 149
Australia
Phone: 07 5609 4910 or 02 8814 6008
“Pete”, “Coachwood Manor”, and similar characters or place vibes are branding and storytelling for entertainment. The Site name is a playful brand — not a claim that we operate a licensed bar, RSA service, or hospitality business from any real street address.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Site (including browsing recipes, creating an account, saving favourites, managing bar stock, hosting or joining a party, submitting content, rating drinks, or using QR guest ordering), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of someone else (including as a party host), you confirm you have authority to bind them and that they also comply.
3. What the Service is (and is not)
The Service provides digital tools and content for personal, domestic, and social use — for example cocktail recipes and notes, favourites, optional account features, home bar stock tracking, party menus, guest order lists, drink forecasts/shopping helpers, community submissions and ratings, and related features we may add or remove.
The Service is not:
- a licensed liquor venue, pop-up bar, or commercial hospitality business;
- a provider of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training, certification, or supervision;
- a medical, dietary, allergy, pregnancy, or health service;
- a payment gateway, banking product, or guarantee that money will change hands at your party;
- legal advice about liquor licensing, council rules, noise, insurance, or hosting duties; or
- an endorsement that any recipe, forecast, stock figure, or AI-generated note is accurate, complete, or safe for you.
You remain solely responsible for how you use the tools in the real world.
4. Alcohol, safety, and hosting risk (read this)
Alcohol can kill, injure, impair judgement, cause addiction, and create civil and criminal liability. Recipes on this Site are for entertainment and home use by adults who choose to drink.
- You decide who drinks. Do not supply alcohol to anyone under 18 (or the legal drinking age where you are). Kids’ / mocktail content is alcohol-free content only — it does not make a party “safe” or licensed.
- You are the host. If you throw a party, invite guests, pour drinks, or use QR ordering / make lists, you (not us) are responsible for guest welfare, over-service, drink driving, fights, property damage, noise complaints, neighbours, council rules, insurance, and any claim that arises.
- Drink driving and impairment. Never drink and drive. Never operate machinery, supervise children, or make critical decisions while impaired. We are not liable for transport choices, accidents, or third-party harm connected to alcohol consumed after using the Site.
- Allergies & ingredients. Recipes may omit allergens, use approximate measures, or be wrong. Check labels yourself. We do not warrant ingredient safety, purity, or legality in your location.
- Health. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, recovering from addiction, or have any medical condition, seek professional advice before consuming alcohol. Do not use Site content as medical guidance.
- No “we poured it” liability. We do not serve drinks. Digital “Made” buttons, stock deductions, and order boards are organisers only. Pressing them does not transfer responsibility to us.
If alcohol, hosting, or party tools create risk you are not prepared to own, do not use those features.
5. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit content, rate alcoholic drinks, host a party, or use features intended for alcohol service planning. By using those features you represent that you are 18+.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for any minor who accesses non-alcohol content on a shared device.
6. Accounts, security, and acceptable use
You must provide accurate registration details, keep passwords confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account (including guest tokens/cookies on devices you control).
We may suspend, limit, or terminate access without notice if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, created risk, abused others, attempted to hack the Service, scraped excessively, or used the Site in a way that could harm us or other users.
7. Parties, QR ordering, stock, and forecasts
Party tools (menus, QR codes, guest orders, make lists, forecasts, shopping helpers, stock tracking, fridge displays, and similar) are provided “as is” to help you organise a private gathering.
- No sale of liquor by us. Using the Site does not authorise you to sell liquor. If you charge guests, run a ticketed event, or operate commercially, you alone must comply with all liquor, tax, and licensing laws. We take no part in your compliance.
- Guest data. If guests join a party or place orders, you must only use that information for running your private event and in line with privacy law. Do not spam or misuse guest details.
- Forecasts & stock. Quantities, readiness, and shopping suggestions are rough helpers only. Running out, overbuying, wastage, or mis-pours are your problem, not ours.
- Availability. Parties, orders, and messages may be delayed, lost, duplicated, or unavailable. Have a backup plan (like talking to your guests).
8. Your content (submissions, ratings, reports, names)
If you submit recipes, notes, display names, ratings, reports, photos you upload, or other material (User Content), you retain ownership of your rights in that content, but you grant New Line Group Pty Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and otherwise use that User Content in connection with the Service and our brand (including moderation, promoting community pours, and improving recipes).
You represent that you have all rights needed to grant that licence, that your User Content is lawful, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or contain malicious code.
We may edit, refuse, credit, uncredit, or remove User Content at our discretion. Community credit is a courtesy, not a contract for payment or ongoing attribution.
9. Our intellectual property
The Site, branding, design, software, copy, images, and compilations (excluding your User Content) are owned by us or our licensors. You get a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal non-commercial hosting and entertainment as allowed by these Terms. You must not copy, scrape for competing products, reverse engineer, or republish substantial parts without our written permission.
10. Accuracy, third parties, and AI-assisted content
Recipes, talk notes, images, liquor catalogue helpers, weather/season hints, ratings averages, and similar content may be incomplete, outdated, user-generated, or produced/assisted by automated systems. They can be wrong, biased, or unsuitable.
Third-party sites, brands, or product references (if any) are not endorsements. We are not responsible for third-party content or websites.
11. Things you must not do
- Use the Site for unlawful activity, including unlawful supply of alcohol to minors;
- Harass, defame, or abuse other users or our staff;
- Upload illegal, sexual content involving minors, malware, or infringing material;
- Attempt unauthorised access, overload, or disrupt the Service;
- Misrepresent that New Line Group Pty Ltd or Coachwood Manor is serving or supervising drinks at your event;
- Use the Service to operate a public bar, bottle shop, or commercial liquor business without all required licences (and even then, you do so entirely at your own risk and without our involvement).
12. Fees, features, and changes
Some or all features may be offered without charge today. We may introduce fees, change plans, limit features, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material paid-plan changes where practicable. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
We may modify or withdraw content and tools without liability.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, we limit it (at our option) to resupplying the services or paying the cost of resupply.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, New Line Group Pty Ltd, its officers, employees, contractors, and related bodies corporate are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity; personal injury or death; property damage; alcohol-related harm; hosting disputes; regulatory fines you incur; or claims by your guests — arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise.
Subject to the ACL and any non-excludable rights, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to AUD $100 or the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (if any), whichever is greater.
14. Indemnity (you cover us)
You indemnify and hold harmless New Line Group Pty Ltd and its officers, employees, and contractors from and against all claims, losses, damages, costs (including reasonable legal fees), and expenses arising out of or connected with: your use of the Service; your parties or alcohol service; your User Content; your breach of these Terms or the law; or claims by your guests, neighbours, regulators, or other third parties relating to an event you organised or drinks you served.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights where you live.
16. Contact, severance, and entire agreement
Questions about these Terms: use our Contact us page (subject: Coachwood Manor Terms) or call 07 5609 4910 / 02 8814 6008.
If a clause is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service and replace prior understandings on that subject. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
